They are finished

sliced jalepeno peppersThe peppers had to go to.  I know, your bummed but tearing out the tomatoes start a snowball effect on the other parts of the garden.  Next the peppers, then the squash, corn, and so on… So what do you do with a “bushel” of jalepenos?  Pickle them.  We have nachos about 50 times a year so why not? Jon found a quick and easy pickling recipe for jalepenos which and then we canned them.  Cutting them up made me think of Christmas because of the red and green colors. I was actually a little nauseous thinking about Christmas since its not yet Halloween. canning pickled jalepenos Unfortunately I’ve already had this horrible experience while visiting Costco earlier in the month.
